Thank you!I appreciate it: ) I went to a wedding a couple weeks agoit was really cool.As soon as the bride and groom walked in they cut the cake and had their first dance.There was no bridal dance none of that dragged out boring stuff.Then the dj announced we were having dinner, we ate then the party started.They didn do the bouquet/garter toss nothing.The dj didnt say hardly Party Dresses Australia anything all night let him know thats what you want when you hire him.If he gets offended he not the dj for you.The hall was set up really cool.There was normal round tables for people to sit at, but all around the bar there was 8 high pub tables w/ no chairs for people to hang out and mingle.Good luck thats stressful planning a wedding: ) It your wedding, do what makes you happy!There are no rules.At our wedding we had the guests arrive at around 7 pm so it was after dinner.We held the ceremony in the same room as the reception.So as guests arrived, we were there greeting them and mingling before we were even married.That broke the ice and made a really warm and excited environment.When it was time to get married we just moved to the front of the room, and everyone quieted down and we had the ceremony.People were standing and sitting, with drinks or without.We then moved straight into the reception, no meal so no head table or table assignments.We just had some tables around the room and people could sit at them if they wanted.We had a buffet of finger food and appetizers.The mc announced what we needed when we needed, my dad wanted to say something, we had a couple of speeches, when we cut the cake, but again, really casual.Then we danced the night away.People said afterwards that it was so nice to have it all so familiar and easy going, they felt much more included than in traditional weddings, and it seemed warmer and more loving.We had a blast and it made the whole thing a lot less stressful for us.We had 135 people and it all went off without a hitch!Good luck! Just keep circulating(And make very sure to land somewhere and eat properly during the reception), keep smiling, and everyone will get what they want most.You get your relaxed atmoshpere where you not on display too much, and your guests will get time and attention from you and your groom, which makes them feel special, too.
